Urgent help needed from cake decorating experts re sisters wedding cupcakes!!!!!!!!

Wedding is Sat afternoon. I'm making and decorating lavender cupcakes(instead of a cake). She wants them iced and I have gorgeous purple sugar flowers to put on top.

Now do I ice tomorrow and put the flower on top straight away or will it bleed into the icing?

Can I ice tomorrow then put the flowers on just before on Sat(I will have 3 under 6 rampaging around)?

To be honest I'd rather ice and flower and get it over with but sis was wondering if we should wait with the flowers. My concern is they won't stick on to dried icing.

Heeeeeeeelp please!!!!!!!!!

TIA

Oh and if I made the actual cakes now would they be fresh enough for Sat?

i think today for sat might make them taste a little dry? i do them in advance sometimes but freeze them.

icing - friday afternoon/pm i think. i have had smarties bleed into the icing. i have only done white flowers. i think id be nervous of purple bleeding if done today too.

So shall I make tomorrow am then ice Sat am? Is that ideal?

Or could I make and ice tomorrow and stick the bloody flowers in Sat am or will the icing be too hard?

Many thanks

Make tomorrow and ice tomorrow evening, use very thin water icing on bottom of flower to stick on top on sat am or even fri evening after actual icing is dry, this will work grand.

Thanks that sounds like a good plan
