Freezing/ reheating beef stroganoff

I'm making a beef stroganoff made with soured cream. I want to keep at least one portion aside for my DS (11mo) - is it ok to just put in fridge and then reheat? Can I freeze a portion of it, too?

Just asking because not sure what the cream will do. Hope this isn't too silly a question.

take out a portion before you put the cream in and freeze that. then you can add the cream whenever it is reheated.

i've frozen it before after adding the cream and it goes a bit odd - far better to freeze without cream
