Help with my lamb stew required.

I've made a Moroccan style lamb stew but it needs a little something extra I think.

There's lamb, of course, in it, apricots, chickpeas, honey, peppers, garlic, onion, red wine, sweet potato, cumin, coriander and cinnamon.

It's nice and very sweet though perhaps a little too much so.

Which other spice/s should I add to it? Would paprika work well? I feel it needs a little heat or something else to cut through the sweetness.

Thankyou in advance.

chilli and big bunch of fresh chopped coriander.

Paprika could work, or even a tiny bit of chilli powder

sounds yummy as is - are you serving it with anything ? perhaps some coriander or lemon in the cous cous to give a bit of zing?

Thankyou all. I put coriander leaves, paprika and a little more cumin in it.

It was delicious. I put a little lemon juice, coriander leaves, and orange zest through the couscous.

Marmite?
(As a stock)
Fresh parsley would be nice.
What about sumac? Yummers with lamb. Has a bitter edge, used in middle eastern cooking.

Or tamarind.
Whole chillis?
