Someone once posted a recipe for a sauce that they said is just like chicken tonights spanish version. I can't remember who posted it, but it went: couple of tins tomatoes, peppers, onions, few herbs. My question is (i'm not a natural chef) what flavour herbs should I use to give a spanishy flavour??????? thanks for any help

I would add some chunky bits of chorizo is lovely in stews

Cinnamon, Garlic, Nutmeg, Paprika, Saffron, Sweet Pepper and Thyme are apparantly the most common spanish herbs/spices
