Making homemade jelly.................

Hi..... my ds loves eating jelly but the packets are full of shedloads of additives and shite.........I wanna have a go at making my own but want some advice before i try.............Who else makes there one from gelatine? Oh and does gelatine have any additives in it? TIA!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know about additives but I don't think so. Really easy. Get nice juice e.g. Coppella Apple and Blackcurrant. Measure a pint into a saucepan, heat until almost boiling, then follow instructions on sachet (I get the sachets, not the leaves. It's important to get the mixing the right way round, but can't remember whether you add the gelatin to the juice or the other way round. It'll say on the box how to do this). then whisk and whisk, then put into bowl or moulds and into fridge. So yummy.

you can also try putting lumps of fruit into the jelly before it's set, or, if you can be arsed, half fill the mould, then when set, top up with a different type for multi coloured layered look. be careful with types f fruit tho eg no kiwi or pineapple i think
