Poaching chicken

How long would you poach chicken breast for so that it's just cooked and doesn't dry out?

Do you want to do it whole?

I usually chop into chunks and then poach for 8 to 10 mins. If you are leaving the breast whole, maybe 20 to 30 mins?

I was gonna lieave it whole then cut into bite size pieces. Will try for 20 then. Thanks!
