Pureed chicken

My dd is over 6 months now, so wanted to start giving her some pureed chicken. I've got some chicken thighs as I can remember from way back my ds preferred these to breasts, but for the life of me I can't remember how long I should boil them for before pureeing them. Any ideas?

15-20 mins? I've never boiled them. I usually cook it in the oven

same as otto's advice

Thanks. And they puree OK after being oven cooked? Just on a baking tray for about 15-20 mins? Covered or uncovered? Sorry this must make me sound really stupid

I found chicken blended really poorly went all stringy
I preferred to sieve it or mouli it for more palatable consistency
Having said both of my kids hate chicken even now!
