...what to make with chestnut puree?

I love the taste of chestnuts and bought a tin of puree - got seduced by the "gently roasted, rich and smooth" written on the tin and for some reason must have thought that the very act of purchasing it would make me a wonderful cook, able to master French cuisine
It's been in my cupboard for weeks now - any ideas please?

Looks like the school tombola has a contribution already, then!
Really, is it too bizarre for anyone to have any suggestions?

I think Nigella has a couple of recipes that use it. Probably worth a google?

I'm sure Nigella does a chocolate and chestnut cake/fridge cake?

assuming it is the sweet version...

i have used it to fill a dark choc cake (i think i used nigella choc cloud recipe), but you need to cut the sugar in cake or the contrast isn't so good.

Ooh, thank you all! That's great, I shall have a look for a choc/chestnut cake.
Thank you!
