Add a pint of passata/a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes

and serve with sour cream if you've got it

Thank you! It already contains tomatoes, and I've no yogurt, so I'm off to try the sugar...

I meant extra passata/tomatoes - it's what I do when I overdo the chilli

Adding more tomatoes may help

A little bit of lemon juice/vinegar may help as well
