Have recently discovered that DD, 19m, loves duck liver pate and egg-fried tofu. What about yours?

Walnuts. We're getting through half a kilo every 2 days.

Pysalis
Olives
Avocados

Sure there are more but can't think right now.

FabulousBakerGirl · 11/05/2009 08:25

Physalis - still can't type

Not too unusual but kamalata olives. and is happy to nothing but broccoli at meal times.

DD also loves green veg - spinach (usually in an omelette with parmesan), broccoli, peas straight from the freezer or defrosted, which she will eat by the handful. She will not touch plain water though.

Not an unusual food as such but in desperation last night when DD had turned her nose up at lovely fish goujons and pizza I gave her some cold cauliflower curry and she wolfed it down.... strange child. She was also OK with the fish part just didn't like the texture of the breadcrumb bit (they were too small to remove all the breadcrumb).

Cold cauliflower curry sounds delicious, actually. I would have that for breakfast. Did you make it yourself?/

Yaki Soba at Wagamama (seriously eats the entire adult portion)

Chorizo in red wine (don't know if thats weird or not)

basically most foreign food eg, indian, mexican, chinese, japanese, tapas etc but try and give him some traditional and he won't eat it!

fizzpops · 11/05/2009 11:39

I did make it myself - specifically for DD so it was good news she enjoyed it. She is having it for lunch today, but I think a little warmer than stone cold.

Meglet · 11/05/2009 11:46

DS 2.6 ate chilli squid at wagamama the other week, he was chewing it for ages . I think he'd eat anything from there. Olives and brocolli are also popular.

FrankMustard · 11/05/2009 17:52

ds 4 liked pickled onions when he tried them (he's not even 2 yet!)and he likes olives chopped and sprinkled on top of pasta etc!
ds2 loves quite hot chilli
all 4 love broccoli, sprouts, cauliflower and asparagus!

Mine like Tacos, Fajitas, anything with chili in.

And Pepperamis.

seeker · 11/05/2009 17:57

My ds's favourite foods are bacon fat and brussel sprouts. I'm sure he lived in a Victorian Orphanage in a past life!

barbarapym · 11/05/2009 17:58

mussels, octopus and sashimi ( ds since aged 2)
stilton ( dd since about 18 months)

All probably highly irresponsible things to give them
