Can I reheat salmon?

HI all

I am new to this so hello to everone!

My dd is nearly 8 months and I made some yummy salmon or myself and dp last night, with a bit of veg and mashed potato.

I have a baby cook book and they have recipes in there for fish which can be frozen, so then surely it is ok to reheat them?

Or not?

Or am I being silly?!

Hi Mum2Ela and welcome! Personally, I think it would be fine to reheat the salmon provided as with all babystuff, you heat it up thoroughly and then let it cool until its at a safe temp for your dd to eat and don't leave it hanging aroung too long. My 3 kids were all brought up on left-overs from the night before and have lived to tell the tale as well as being unfussy eaters.

Thanks oxocube.

I thought as much. Its just that my mum looks after dd on fridays and she asked when I rang her. Then I wondered because dd had nasty runny poo yesterday afternoon (she had fish at lunchtime yesterday too), but that could be anything, or just her body getting used to new food still?
