Does anyone have a good recipe for this?

And should I serve it with cream, custard or ice cream.

Thankyou in advance.

Preferably a recipe for a large pudding rather than individual ones.

Nigella has a great one - don't have the recipe to hand but Google will find it - think she calls it Easy Toffee Pudding?

This is the easiest (Nigel Slater?) Cheat recipe which is FAB:

Take 1 loaf type Jamaican ginger cake (eg McVities) and slice into about 8 slices in a gratin dish - or individual ones.

For the sauce:
50g/2oz butter
110g/4oz soft brown sugar
110g/4oz golden syrup
Combine the above in a saucepan, melt over gentle heat until sugar is dissolved. Let bubble for 5 mins.

Add few drops vanilla extract

150ml/5floz double cream and stir in

Pour over cake slices and heat in 190/gas 5 oven for about 15 mins.
