Pasta sauce and chilli are my usual standbys.

OrmIrian · 07/05/2009 14:20

Spaghetti bollocknaise. Always goes down well.

Chilli.

Or pizzas?

They are male. They are 17. They will eat. Anything. Everything. Do not fret

chimchar · 07/05/2009 14:21

is it an occasion? a quick bite to eat?

are they with you for ages, or will be scoffing then running out of the door?

seeker · 07/05/2009 14:21

Pasta. Bolognaise Sauce. Garlic bread.

He can make it this evening and it will be ready for him to serve to his friends tomorrow.

PacificDogwood · 07/05/2009 14:22

God help you!!

Trip to Costco, me thinks, for pizza, pasta and lots of bolognese sauce. And about 20 loafs of bread. And gallons of sugary alcoholic drinks. And pallets of crisps and things.

Rather you than me !!

not 17 year olds.. but when ds1 (14) friends desend.. I do a mahooosive lasagne ( and a smaller veggy one.. as one is a veggy), garlic bread.. huge bowl of salad, several cartons of fruit juice.. followed by a large carrot or choc fusge cake!..

I have this coming up next weekend with 5 of them!

BCNS · 07/05/2009 14:30

oh add to that a whole pile of chip butties as an inbetweener ( when they just get in.. or just before they go out!)

yogabird · 07/05/2009 14:40

right, off later for chips and chilli ingredients. Shame I can't get one of them to make it but they are my guests, my tutees from school who are about to go off on their final exam leave and then out into the big wide world! THanks everyone

I have some spare teenagers if you're lonely at all?

offers selection

seeker · 07/05/2009 21:47

I've got a girl one you can have for variety? She's only 13 - but that's about 17 in boy years.

southeastastra · 07/05/2009 21:51

what do you teach them?

yogabird · 10/05/2009 21:27

I teach Business Studies but I don't teach these boys I just chase them up when they are behaving badly for their teachers and encourage them when they are struggling. I support and advise them through UCAS applications and they are off into the wide world in 2 weeks - well study leave, then exams and so I thought I'd do the farewell thing and feed them and say goodbye properly
