I randomly bought some fresh egg noodles (2 x packets) yesterday as I thought they looked nice but did not buy any stir fry ingredients to go with them, and they go out of date today.

I do have:

salmon fillets (defrosting now)
peppers
sweetcorn

I don't have any soy sauce...

what else can I add to it? I've also got carrots and leeks...

What do I do to it all? Any tips?

Thanks,

Bloss

All of the above!

I would cook the salmon first though, it'll go mushy if you try and stir fry it.
Leeks peppers and carrots first. Then sweetcorn and noodles, then flaked cooked salmon at the last minute.

Maybe a drop of stock if you've got it? Or sherry?

We usually have carrots and onions, and depending what else we have in the fridge, will add broccoli, peppers, leeks - anything really. We tend to use a bottle of nando's ginger and soy to add to sirfry when it's cooking, and because its in a bottle you can use as much or as little you like.

I don't - just cut them very small. My children like it if I shave them into long strips with a potato peeler.

(I do this about once a year - they talk about it for ages. Sad lives they lead!!)
