I took some lamb mince out of the freezer and put into fridge late wednesday night to cook a chilli on thursday. But ended up feeling ill on thursday and friday, so didnt cook it. Would it be ok to cook now then freeze the chilli as been invited to inlaws tonight. It has been in fridge since I got it out of the freezer. What do you think?
Thanks in advance

I'd say it depends on how long you'd had it before it went into the freezer the first time around?

And does it still smell ok?
I think if it is ok to cook then it will be ok to refreeze. And I'd say it is almost certainly ok - but I would definitely give it a good sniff and a poke first.

Only got it about a week ago and it went straight in the freezer.

Reckon it's fine then, as long as it smells ok like boogeek said. Obviously cook it to within an inch of its life
