We don't have a microwave but we sucessfully heat up rice dishes - we boil a bit of water in the kettle, add this a bit at a time while stirring it over a very low heat.

Its not like its freshly cooked but works fine if you are not gordon ramsay!

That would work, but add the water gradually.

Better than that though, make it into burgers and shallow fry them until the outside is crispy. I always make extra risotto so we can eat the leftovers this way.

I'd second the risotto 'cakes' as being delicious. I've also reheated it in a saucepan with a small amount of boiling water added - just make sure you keep stirring so that you don't burn it.

Er, I did say to add the water a bit at a time!

Mmm burgers sounds good - Id bung an egg in though before heating up to make them stick together in burger shapes.

Dp has been known to just bung it in frypan and call it 'special fried rice'

yummy sounds great, I will have to give that a go, but not today as I have got so much left over it will take me ages to fry it all.
