Right then ladies, after my last thread complaining about DH not wanting to meal plan, I've thought, fuck him.

I have designed a menu today which notes his shifts (so it will have to tweeked four weekly etc) and therefore I can make sure I meal plan the dc's meals for when he is at home to make sure he eats with us all. (we usually eat about 8.30 when they are in bed and I find this too late and often get heartburn).

So, what I would like is some ideas,

DC can be fussy but I want to try and knock it on the head, I'll try to explain best I can

DD1 is not keen on any meat whatsover, only things she likes meatwise are, chicken nuggets, hotdogs, chicken burgers and chicken kiev. Loves garlic cous cous and hates lemon/lime couscous

DD2 is not keen on spicy food, sauces etc so she won't eat the veggie lasagne I make that dd1 adores, loves lemon/lime couscous, hates garlic couscous, loves any kind of me

DH (pain in the arse I can work round)

I know I'm going to get flamed for the above being fussy, but, DH and I have argued so many times because he will say in front of the dc 'i don't like this' and 'that is disgusting etc' so I think they have picked up alot from him

I love bolognese etc so I'm going to get some tupperware and freeze some for me.

Meals I have so far are:

  • Chicken kievs and salad
  • Fishfingers, (homemade healthy chips) peas
  • Shepherds pie (one dc eats mash and veg other eats meat and veg)
  • Jacket potatoes
  • Sausage casserole
  • Hot dogs (treat) - (home made wedges)
  • Home-made pizza on saturdays (including dough)
  • Mince and potatoes with veg
  • Toad in the hole
  • Omelette
  • Lemon chicken with new potatoes and fresh crusy bread

Any more ideas and recipes would be greatly greatly appreciated, especially the ones that go in a slow cooker.

I've managed to get some more recipes off the mumsnet recipe pages such as the beef stew and dumplings with no celery and peppers, but swapping with mushrooms etc.
