How long will it last?

If I bake a Victoria sponge cake and don't do the filling or icing, how long will it stay good enough (for a bunch of 6 year olds) to eat?

I freeze mine and get them out nearer the time - in a tin should be oK a couple of days? How long were you thinking?

2 days in a sealed plastic box. Sounds like I should be OK then. Thank you JC
