I went to a boot-sale today, normally i would take my own food but today i bought a burger from a dodgy looking burger van, after eating half of it i thought it tasted a bit mushy so looked inside to find the middle was uncooked. Will i get food poisoning, how long till i drop?

About 37 seconds I reckon and it's taken 33 of them to type and post this.

Nah, you'll be fine probably.

What do you mean when you say uncooked? I make burgers at home and always serve them slightly pink in them middle as we like them like that. Anyway im sure you shall be fine.

If it's a burger made from beef, then it's just like eating a steak - same animal! Why would it be different if it's minced up and shaped into a burger?

Greensleeves · 26/04/2009 17:01

it depends on how shit a burger it is

if it was a freh one made from decent meat, that's fine

if a frozen grey thing made of god knows what, I wouldn't be happy.

I hope it was a 100% beef burger (it looked like a nice burger, not a cheep one). Don't they put all sorts of rubish in burgers. It was pinkish and cold in the middle.

was nice knowing you

Was the van clean? That'd be the main problem I'd have thought.

and BIWI - a burger made from beef? actual beef? Where did you aquire this taste for luxuries? buy a burger from a grubby burger van and best you can hope for is horse while praying it's not rat!

The van looked clean, 2 elderly (well in there late 60's) were running it. It tasted ok (for a burger) until i saw the raw bit .

Never going to touch a burger again (unless i made it myself), i don't know why i bought it, i dont even like burgers.
