how much oil goes into whole egg mayonnaise?

all the recipes i can find have measurements in cups. alternatively, if you can advise how many ml a cup is equal to.....

Don't know off hand but Sainsbury's sell a set of measuring cups for about £3.

Good old Delia to the rescue. You can, of course, halve this recipe - and I generally use sunflower oil rather than ground nut.

If you want to make mayonnaise using the whole egg (yolk and white) use one whole egg plus one egg yolk to 10 fluid oz oil.
