Tried anything new this week?

I try to give new meals a try every couple of weeks. This week I made a chicken noodle soup (with lots of added veg) and the dc loved it!

Have you tried a new meal this week and did the family enjoy it?

In the oven, although apparently BBQ is best (some hope!)

I've just made this Spinach & Sausage Cannelloni for the first time so hope it is good!

I made this aubergine bake last night and it was DELICIOUS! If you scroll down to the bottom of the link you can read my review!

Considering it was so simple it was really tasty. DH and I are trying to eat less meat and this was a tasty alternative. The aubergines really benefitted from being griddled, im not sure it would have worked as well otherwise.

Just printed off the sauasage and spinach calleloni recipe Stirling, it sounds yummy! What was it like? Was it labour-intensive?

It was lovely notamummy - it did take a little while to prepare but everyone loved it and wanted more so I shall def do it again but would make more next time (I halfed the recipe).

I've had a recipe printed out for the aubergine bake notamummy but hadn't got around to it but shall make the effort now you have recommended

I had leftovers for my lunch today and my colleagues all wanted a bit it smelt so good! Naturally I didn't let them...with this swine flu you just can't risk it can you?!
