Can I add frozen to fresh?

I need to make a large quantity of curry. I already have a couple of freezer bags of the particular dish I'm making in the freezer.

Can I make double the recipe, and then add the defrosted freezer curry to the new stuff?

It would save me having to cook the whole thing twice as I only have a pan big enough for 2ce the recipe, and I need 3X.

Yup - is fine.

Just make sure that is throoughly heated with teh frozen added and that you don't re-freeze it again, or reheat it again.

I would cool the freshly cooked batch down completely before adding the defrosted freezer batches to it and then re-heat thoroughly when you need them. Then it should be fine.

I would kep them separate

Serve the frozen stuff first, then use the fresh stuff (as if you don't mix it you can freeze the freshly made stuff if it isn't finished)
