Some creature has been chomping on the fresh basil. Can I stil use it?

I was going to do my daughter a tomato, bacon, basil and pasta combo.

Some creature, prob a slug has been chomping away at it. Will the leaves still be OK to use even though there are holes in the leaves.

She's 15 months, it won't make her ill will it??

I would wash it, pick off any obviously manky bits and then use it.

Also do you know if I can cook the tomatoes in the oven with Extra Virgin Olive oil. I have got any Olive oil and I didnt want to start a new thread asking this question.
