Rachel Allen's BAKE classic cheesecake

Does anyone have this recipe? Could you bear to post it for me?

DH is turning 40 and has decreed this to be his cake of choice. He's seen it in my sisters Bake book but she's on holiday of course and I must rustle it up this weekend.

I'd be so very, very grateful.

TIA

Is it the baked cheesecake with blueberries ?

Sycamoretree · 17/04/2009 13:39

Hi, yes, I think that's the one. Though by giving me it's proper name, I've just managed to google it here

Thanks a million!

can't stand that bloody woman

Oh do tell Evergreen - I know nothing of her AT ALL. Sis had her book and DH was browsing. Is she new self appointed guru of baking?

Funny comment on that online recipe said it tasted too eggy!

Have printed a good food guide new york cheesecake recipe too.

Have made a couple of recipies from the book and they have all come out well.. goodluck glad I could help.

This is a fab recipe and SO easy; I wowed DH with it and his parents. They still talk about it and I made it several months ago.
Other recipes in the book are good too, eg fairy cakes.

Overmydeadbody · 12/05/2009 13:34

not surprised it tastes eggy with four eggs in it!!

Sycamore good luck, I'm sure your DH will appreciate it!
