Lamb stock

Have got the bones left from a roast leg of lamb... do I make stock the same way as I would chicken stock? I normally just put the bones in water with carrot/bay leaf/peppercorns/celery etc. and simmer for a couple of hours.

yes, though I find it needs reducing more than chicken stock to get flavour. Don't forget an onion!

Thanks. Oh yes, onion too!

What recipes is lamb stock good in?

I've only used it for shepherds pie but I think it would be quite nice to turn a basic risotto into something quite savoury.
