any ideas for recipes with tagliatelle as main ingredient??

Thats it really!! am fed up of cooking the standard fusilli pasta or the bows for DD (usually with tuna and sweetcorn)

She has spaghetti aswell, but saw some bought some tagliatelle as change but now have no idea what to do with it!!

As you can probably tell, I'm relatively new to cooking

I like it with mushrooms, fried with garlic and then a packet of Boursin stirred in until it melts, with a bit of milk to loosen it into a sauce if needed and lots of black pepper. Yum.

Unfortunately neither of my ds will eat mushrooms, so I don't get to eat it much.

You can just do the same things...tagliatelle goes well with creamy sauces too

Fry up some bacon bits/chopped bacon and finely chopped onion and garlic and veg (purple sprouting broccoli is nice, as are shredded mange tout) and then turn the frying pan off. Add some cream and let it bubble briefly in the heat. Add some cheese, parmesan, whatever, some seasoning: voila quick creamy pasta sauce.

I have made it with tagliatelle and it was really nice.

I do a recipe with prawns, rocket and peas. Very nice and very easy to do but looks amazing.

Bacon, creme fraiche and pesto.
