Recipes/meal ideas for 7 month old

My freezer is full of purees for my 7.5 month old DS and he is very good (usually) about trying new things but I have kind of run out of things to make for him. His diet consists of fish pie, tuna bake, chicken cass, lentil bake and cauliflower/broccoli cheese...... Any ideas/suggestions that your bubs have yummed down would be very much appreciated! Would also love some ideas for puddings that don't use sugar - at the mo he just has pureed fruit..... Thanks!

Have you tried just giving him what you eat without pureeing it or altering it? As long as it's very low/no salt and no nuts or honey or chokey things like whole grapes or whole cherry tomatoes, he will be fine

Thank you both - that sounds like a great plan to just give him what we have. I guess I just thought he wasn't old enough for what we eat but thinking about it, i'm sure he'll be able to have most of what we have. Sausage & mash is a great plan! And as for cake/crumble & custard, I can just imagine his face - yum yum! xx

When DD was just starting to have more solid food, i would bake a potato, scoop out the middle and mash with the purees, she also really liked home made fish cakes and you can put all sorts in them and as they are soft but easy to hold they seemed ideal for first finger food
