Toad in the hole foolproof recipe needed

I haven't made toad in the hole for ages and my mind is blank.

Do you cook sausages part way first? Its yorkshire pudding batter as far as I can recall but how much do you use.

Its for 5-6 people if thats any help.

I haven't made it for ages, but I do recall part cooking the sausages before adding the YP batter.

I used to make mini Toads for the LOs using two cocktail sausages in each recess of a YP pan. They loved it with baked beans. No idea why I stopped doing it.

yes,definitely cook sausages in the pan first and pour the batter on to the very hot sausages and oil...can't remember quantities though - yum - I love Toad
