Chocolate cake - would it be ok to eat on Monday if I made it today?

DH's birthday on Monday and he's out playing golf at the moment. Was thinking of making him a chocolate cake for his birthday now and leaving it in the fridge in the garage till monday so it would be a surprise. It's a packet of Betty Crocker chocolate Devil cake mix, covered in choc fudge icing. Would it be alright to leave in the fridge till Monday?

Course it will. I'd probably eat it for up to 2 weeks later myself although cake does tend to dry out in the fridge, an airtight box in a cupboard may be better.
