Supernoodles

Dh was eating chicken flavoured supernoodles at the weekend [grim emoticon] and dd had a little taste. She absolutely loved them. At almost 2yo, her diet is becoming increasingly full of crap (for want of a better word) and I am not giving her supernoodles!

Can anyone suggest a way to recreate the texture and flavour of them for me to give to dd?

I think the actual noodles are probably OK (haven't actually checked though). Perhaps you could dump the flavouring sachet and use some decent chicken or veggie stock instead?

plain noodles (from chinese food section of supermarket) cooked with chicken stock and some veg this is how I got my dc onto stir-fry just increasing the veg content.

Oooh that's a good idea - so could I boil them in chicken stock?

Yes just as you would with the noodle 'flavour'.

I would just give her the noddles plain - most children are fine with plain and it is adults that &think^ it needs to be flavoured.

A touch of hp sauce or tomato ketchup with plain noddles would be fine

i get the 9p ones from asda and add hp for my own enjoyment - its such a budget light dinner and i do chop up bits of raw veg and mix it all in.
