My dad has been diagnosed with high cholesterol and is keen to tackle it via diet rather than medication. This is proving hard as he can't really cook at all and lots of the ready meal type foods he was relying on just don't fit the bill. He's eating some really undelicious stuff in consequence and, as we are a family who like our food, I can't help but worry that this will make him miserable. I'd like to get him a cooking for dummies type book but one which has tasty low cholesterol recipes. Though he likes to eat, he's not hugely adventurous and likes traditional English type meals- meat and 2 veg with lots of stilton to follow, sort of thing. I have noticed that he's trying to branch out a bit recently though. Any ideas?
