I have so many nettles in my garden that I am determined to make nettle beer this year, but I'm confused about the type of yeast I need. I think it's 'active yeast' or 'brewer's yeast', but I looked on ebay and most of the active yeast seemed to be dried, which I'm not sure is right. Has anyone made nettle beer successfully? What type of yeast did you use?
