Creme fraiche and lemon?

I have some creme fraiche and a lemon left over- can I make some sort of desert with this? I'm thinking adding sugar? Heating perhaps?

Any ideas?

Add some icing sugar and zest of the lemon to the creme fraiche, you could then use the juice of the lemon, some corn flour maybe and a little more icing sugar to make a warm lemony sauce to go over the top.

Got any plain biscuits? Digestive or Ginger nuts maybe? You could make a quick easy cheese cake. So long as you have icing sugar too, to mix with the creme fraiche!

Good idea moondog- I could do that tomorrow, I've already done dinner for this evening.

Any ideas for something sweet?

Creme fraiche great over fruit. Sometihng like stewed plums or rhubarb or gooseberries.Or an apple crumble.

wouldn't do a pud but you can use creme fraiche in place of cream for lots of things and would squeeze the lemon over chicken or fish or use in a marinade with olive oil and garlic. Not much help really

Ok, thanks for the great ideas. I decided to cobble something up!

Grated the lemon zest into some sugar in a saucepan and added the creme fraiche. Brought to the boil and boiled for 3 minutes, then added the juice of the lemon and seived into serving pots. It's now in the fridge with the intention of thickening up- fingers crossed!!
