Potato cakes?

I make (badly) potato cakes with onions & corriander & they taste lovely

But they fall apart

It annoys me - so every so often I post on MN to ask if there is anything I can stick it together with (not egg)

Any ideas?

Add a bit of flour to your mash and knead it really well before you cook it (v slowly).

I seemed to have cnsiderable success by wandering off to MN not prodding it too much & leaving it alone to cook tho' I might risk the smoke alarm that way
