Apple pudding/ cake recipe please!

I've got loads of eating apples (too much bogof) and want to make a pudding or cake that goes in the oven. I'm not feeling inspired by the recipe section, and feel like branching out from crumble/ tart. Any ideas?

I have a apple and blackberry cake recipe (although I use blueberries usually) - hang on I'll find it....

Finnish Apple Cake as recommended on a MN thread a few weeks ago. I've made this, it's lovely.

I asked this question quite recently and LizS posted the above recipe - it is lovely and I've made it three or four times now. Serve it warm with clotted cream or custard.
