I want Grape Nuts!

.... But they seem to have disappeared from the shelves of all my local supermarkets and Ocado tells me they are 'temporarily unavailable'. They were my cereal crunch in a time of credit crunch and I want them back! Have e-mailed Kraft foods and am awaiting reply.I am in the south east. Please report any local sightings. Thanks!

I like 'em but have realised processed breakfast cereals are such a rip-off.Profit margines are HUGE.
Now I buy a sack of oats and live on that.
I love porridge.

Yup - 20 boxes! Hoping they'll have sorted out the supply problem by the time I get through that lot.
Moondog - they may be processed but it's the fortified bit I appreciate, as a vegetarian who used to verge on being anaemic. The suggested serving of 45g apparently has 89% of the RDA for iron. Plus useful B vitamins too. And they're yummy!

My 20 boxes of Grapenuts are now stowed tidily away in the cupboard - and I'm particularly looking forward to breakfast tomorrow ....

It sounds like a slang name for piles to me...not sure i could eat anything called that?

I was wondering about your storage situation. 20 boxes -- I thought you'd have a shed.

I like GN with hot milk on a very cold morning.

I got my box (had forgotten how tiny they are ) and enjoyed a bowl this morning. Will have to get some more! Don't have a spare cupboard for 20 boxes though...

Liking the slang name for piles. Tis beautifully descriptive.

I am a serial cereal stower - no one in this house likes to run out of their favourite and keeping them all happy makes the mornings much sweeter. And as Jimmy has remembered the boxes are pretty small - easy to pack when we go away! (sadly, I'm serious!)
