Does Kiwi fruit make other fruit go off?

I bought some the other day and now most of my fruit bowl look very
Does anyone know if they should be stored seperately?

They do go soft quite quickly, don't they? So maybe they do give off a 'ripening' gas. But I don't know. Not much help, sorry!

I do know they stop jelly from setting.

When I put them in fruit salad it seems to go off quicker - yes. They're full of useful antioxidants though so don't stop buying them.
