DS, 13 months old, has 2 weetabix but seemes like he was still hungry after. Surely 3 is too much, no?!

Hungry boy!

My 2 always had 2, if still hungry could you offer a banana?

EdwardBear · 24/03/2009 07:41

Wow, my 13 month DS doesnt manage to finish one!

Eyeballsinthesky · 24/03/2009 07:41

Goodness I can't get dd to eat even one. I wish she'd eat two!

norksinmywaistband · 24/03/2009 07:44

Mine have always been greedy gannets at breakfast but are not really fussed about lunch and eat a moderate dinner - they really do breakfast like kings etc

PfftTheMagicDragon · 24/03/2009 07:44

At that age, DS often ate 2 and then asked for another. If it's any help, he didn't stay like that, after another year he would eat maybe one and a bit.

Trinityrhino · 24/03/2009 07:55

dd1 wasn't eating weetabix at that age but now at 8, this morning she has just eaten three.....dry

StercusAccidit · 24/03/2009 07:58

DD and DS1 used to have 3

So used to bulk the 2 out with banana or slices of apple

So i wasn't a completely useless mother when i was younger after all

seeker · 24/03/2009 07:58

As many as he wants!

mrsgboring · 24/03/2009 08:02

DS went through a 3 weetabix phase round that age. We had friends who claimed their kids ate six each

DS not like that now - he has exacting requirements of exactly what combination of cereals are put in his bowl in which order and then will often fuss and pick. Twas easier when he was a happy gannet.

Trinityrhono - 3 dry weetabix...how did she manage that without milk

StecusAccidit - banana and apple sounds like a good plan, thank you

my 10 year old once at 14

Trinityrhino · 24/03/2009 08:08

astra - no idea, she just sits and eats them like biscuits
very weird girl

WowOoo · 24/03/2009 08:11

I used to try to limit mine to 1 or 1.5 at that age as too much would give him 'nappy issues'!!
Would try to give fruit instead or piece of toast if still hungry.
