likessleep · 23/03/2009 14:43

We are going away this weekend and I need to cook easy meals Fri/Sat/Sun that:

Are reasonably healthy

Do not contain tomato/wheat/too much dairy

Any ideas/inspiration gratefully received ...

Sorry all my meals for cooking away camping have those very ingrediants!

What about cooking a large chicken to take with you

FRIDAY - Chicken with rice and Salad

SATURDAY - Cold chicken with Veg gravy.

SUNDAY - Mince stew -onion, mince and veg you have (tinned if need be) cooked in gravy for 30mins to 1hour served with mashed potato.

Any leftover chicken csn be used for sandwiches.

Have to say we usually take a round of pastas and tinned veggies, plus pizzas with us.Then just snacky foods ,kinda drop the healthy stuff cause were on hols

We normally take pasta and pesto, pizza and make a curry - but was stumped cos they all contain wheat, dairy or tomato

fish and chips are a must on a caravan holiday surely.
