I love capers, so know I'd like this.

As well as white meat, could it be a sauce for fish too?

TIA

Don't know the recipe but I used to work in a restaurant years ago and they served barramundi (an Australian fish) in a sauce made from butter, lemon and capers. It was delicious.

well come on cod, shell out the recipe
I can get my hands on lots of Barrumundi

gingerbear · 20/04/2005 15:29

mmmm Barramundi......
I remember catching one in a Lake near Kunnunnura and cooking it on a campfire......happy memories.

suzywong · 20/04/2005 15:33

oh you adventurous backpacker you

my parents went to the Pinnacles yesterday

gingerbear · 20/04/2005 16:15

Never got to Pinnacles - how far from Perth? Was in WA for 3 weeks and travelled from Perth to Darwin, so we had to miss some things. Did Bungle Bungles though which was truly amazing.
Can't wait to take DD on walkabout.

Cod must be in her power suit and new heels, or out shopping for some.

suzywong · 20/04/2005 16:18

oo did you do Bungle Bungles? Can't wait to do that... one day

gingerbear · 20/04/2005 17:17

Suzy, it is on your doorstep - get yourselves off there!

gingerbear · 20/04/2005 21:24

Suzy, stick it with some barramundi, bet it is great.
(Do you buy it Frozen from Kmart?? )

suzywong · 23/04/2005 02:15

actually I had some Barramundi last night (at Cicerello's fish and chips on the waterfront at Fremantly - remember it?) and i have to say I found it flacid and soggy... not my favourite.

Ah so much local fish and so much local wine to get through
