you can buy them from lakeland if you're off your head and have loads of money, but i just use a dry kitchen cloth. one of those towelling ones, i can't remember the brand.

You should most certainly peel them if they are organic, not due to the pesiticide but due to the "live manure" ie excrements used to fertilize. You dont want to eat somebody's (or some animals) coliform stomach and intestinal bugs.

My fathers friend is an organic farmer. He does the potatoes (delivers a few hundred kg to my father each automn) while his wife does the carrots.
