yousaidit · 22/03/2009 22:27

(tongue now rolling on floor in pint of drool!)

JodieO · 22/03/2009 22:27

Boak at black pudding

Guadalupe · 22/03/2009 22:28

white pudding is worse!

QuintessentialShadow · 22/03/2009 22:28

I love blackpudding with plenty of sugar.

TweetleBeetle · 22/03/2009 22:28

add some chorizo in with the bacon - best cooked breakfast I ever had whilst camping last year

JodieO · 22/03/2009 22:28

White pudding? Never heard of that.

breaghsmum · 22/03/2009 22:28

In answer to the title- someone else.

breaghsmum · 22/03/2009 22:29

chorizo... who would have thought of that in a fry? must try, sounds yummy

try adding chillis to the beans (lazy chillis work fine) and a touch of brown sauce then fry the beans til they're on their way to becoming mushy peas (not quite that bad but hinting at it)?

janeite · 22/03/2009 22:31

For me (and only to be eaten at 'tea time' never, ever in the morning:

2 Staffordshire oatcakes
A big pile of mushrooms
One egg fried until it is crispy and brown on both sides with no yolk
One slice of fried bread
The juice from a small tin of tomatoes to be served in a separate bowl with lots of black pepper for dipping.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 22/03/2009 22:31

Good lord, that's one hell of a breakfast you've got there.

Now then, what sort of sausages are you talking. They have to be good ones IMO, none of this pink crap.

Eggs. Fried or scrambled? Really needs to be fried if you're having bacon.

And I'm quite partial to a hash brown as well, tbh.

JodieO · 22/03/2009 22:32

Hash browns would be nice too or potato cakes, toast with butter. Hmm tryign to think of more.

janeite · 22/03/2009 22:35

Pot of Earl Grey. Soda bread and butter.

breaghsmum · 22/03/2009 22:35

fried eggs and good quality pork and bacon from the butchers.

I do like a full Scottish but ......
In Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and all round there you get poached smoked haddock with a poached egg on top and a couple of 'butteries' on the side. Best brekkie in the world.

SlightlyMadScotland · 22/03/2009 22:39

Oh yes a fried breakfast is only a fried breakfast if someone else has made it. Most definatley NOT the same if you have made it yourself.

As for the menu:

2 sausage
2 smoked back bacon
1 fried egg. Runny yolk
Beans
Big mushroom
Grilled tomato
2-3 hash browns
2 slices of fried bread
2 slices of bread and butter to mop up.

Glass of fresh OJ with bits.

breaghsmum · 22/03/2009 22:40

agree with someone else making it
