Whats the difference between a quice and a tart as I want to make Leek and Stilton Tart

We went for dinner the other evening and my hub had this - he loved it.

Was going to make it tonight for a starter - however all the recipes state to use eggs and cream - surely this is a quiche!!!!

I want to bake a tart - any ideas please on a TART recipe?

I think a quiche is a quite specific recipe. With bacon etc (on dodgy ground here). Flan is the correct word for generic flat eggy things in a pastry case.

umm - it was a tart he had and it didnt appear eggy?

I'd say quiche is savoury, tart can be either.
(but I don't know!)

Ok then - a tart is flat thing made of pastry which can contain eggs. A quiche is a specific recipe. Is that better?
