Now, I am not one to get over excited about a pudding (a pie, maybe). However, I just want to make very clear how VERY VERY LOVELY the Pret Caramel pot is. I have just spent a perfect 5 minutes at my desk enjoying every mouthful and wondering whether I will last til Monday for another. Im pregnant as well and not sure if they fall into some kill-joy prohibited food list. Happily, even if they do then I don't care, not one little bit.

This isn't the same, but have you tried the Petit Filou pudding pots? The caramel and/or chocolate ones? Eff me ragged they are GORGEOUS!

So glad I've already been out to get my lunch.

*stares at her tuna with 3 bean salad with a distinct lack of enthusiasm.

If you like the Petit Filou ones then would def recommend. They are the Fortnum and Mason of caramel puds whereas PF would be more of the Aldi end of things (and that's not to do down the PF ones as I have been happy to wrench them from my DD's sticky grip in the past). They are solid creaminess with a wafer thin layer of dark caramel and a little caramel swirl on top. Honestly, just lush. I dont think I have ever enthused about anything as much before!

OMG that sounds good. Sort of like a creme caramel, with the bitterness of the dark toffee contrasting with the yielding sweetness of the creamy puddi...
