These are people I have cooked for many, many times, so I am totally lacking in inspiration.

Anybody got any good ideas?

BBC Good Food website. You can put in any ingredients you fancy (or none at all), choose 8 people and it'll give you lots of ideas.

what have you cooked for them recently, so we can eliminate those?

any likes/dislikes?

I have cooked many variations on chicken in a creamy sauce/wrapped in parma ham. I have done many roasts, mexican, moroccan tagines, stews.

I am cooking malaysian curry for them on the Friday night, so I thought something a bit plainer on Saturday.

Oh and no fish or seafood.

boeuf bourgignon? the bbcgoodfood website JW posted has some posh versions of this IIRC. could do with dauphinoise potatoes.

pork fillet stuffed with something eg apples/mushrooms, wrapped in puff pastry?

pork or beef stroganoff?

Mmm dauphinoise potatoes!!!

Not a big pork fan, but puff pastry makes me think beef wellington, I've always wanted to try delia's individual ones.

Thanks!!
