recommendations for booster seat

I need to buy a booster seat for my 19mo, so she can sit on a dining chair at the table to eat ......... can anyone recommend a god one, which looks nice (instead of horribly bright coloured and plasticky). Is there such a thing as a wooden one?
Thanks

I had a wooden highchair from ikea - took the wooden spinndel out from the front and my dd's sat in it at correct hight for table until they were 5 -6 years. This I kept at my parent house and at home a had a plastic booaster in the chair - in dull ish red, but cant remember where it came from and it doubled up as a stool to make dc higher for cooking.

We got one of these when DD was about 18mths. It has done her and DS and if you are interested I was about to put it on ebay! Ours is an older version but still has lots of life left in it.
No problems if you don't want mine but we found it great.

Hi Feetheart - and thank you for this; it looks great. What colour is yours, and how much will you be looking for it on ebay - and does it look very used/worn or newish still etc?? Thanks !

Ours looks like this one so not quite as fancy as the newer models! Don't think they did the travel bag when we got ours and although you can get a cushion for them we never bothered and the children seemed comfy enough.
In ebay-speak I would say ours was in 'good, used condition'. The seat itself is immaculate but the waist straps are a little stretched - it has survived 2 wriggly toddlers!
If you like you can CAT me and I can send you some pictures. It may take me a day or two to get pictures from camera to computer as it involves using DH's work laptop and I can't always get it off him

Thanks Feetheart ..... I hope you won't mind, but think I will treat us to a new one as we will have plenty of use out of it (1 19mo and another dc due tomorrow!!) - but thank you very very much for details of this booste seat, which looks perfect. Hope yours sells well on ebay.

another vote for the handysitt here - it's really sturdy, looks great and DS has been in it since 6 months. Also so easy to take it out with you or to grandma's.

Madigan - don't mind at all, happy to help. It's definitely worth it.

Good luck with new baby, hope it doesn't keep you waiting too long
