babybel cheese

hi everyone,
my dd is 8 months old and i have given her few times babybel cheese.just yesterday i spoke to friend who said that this cheese is not really for babies thah age.is it true.could you give me your opinion.thanks

Its fine, but I think that babybel quite high in salt so one a day only.

I don't think they are high in salt, they're a normal cheese only smaller. They're not a processed cheese like cheese strings, etc.

Am still at a dinenr lady who told my DD that they were "rubbish/junk food".

My dd loves cheese, (one of her first words ) and she really liked the babybels i think because they are easy to hold, i think one a day would be fine, it is a source of calcium and protein after all
