Hi there

I've never cooked ate nor cooked with celeriac before so I'm not sure what to do with it...
I bought it at the supermarket because it was on offer and looked interesting and different, but I'm not sure what to do with it now...

Any suggestions ??

I love it. The 2 things I usaully make with it are :
soup and layering with potatoes. I slice the celariac and potatoes very thinly and layer them with parmesan cheese in a dish and cover with a cream/stock mixture and bake for an hour, yummy!!!

You need to peel it btw!!!

I had it for the first time last night, and have absolutely fallen in love with it - it was delicious. I made these

soup is the obvious one, but how about rosti or mix it with mashed potatoes.

Gordon Ramsey has a fab recipe for a celeriac and butternut squash curry.

My favourite dish ever.

celariac mash is lovely too (best made indulgently with butter & cream though)

Stripey, that curry sounds lovely, I'm adding celariac #& squash to my shopping list as I type!
