Stick it in a casserole. We had chicken casserole for lunch which just had carrots, mushrooms and bulger wheat in it. It was lurvely. Do remember it takes a while to cook though.

oh i love bulgar wheat.

It's really nice in a cold type of salad, with chopped up onions, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, lemon juice and olive oil. I have also added feta cheese and olives in the past.

there's a jamie oliver thing where you put bulghur + root veg + stock in a roasting tin, cover it with baking parchment, stab a few holes, top w/chicken thighs and bung it all in the oven.

the chicken roasts, sking crisps, the juices run down into the wheat and the steam from the stock keeps the meat moist. is delish, esp w/fennel in the wheat.

also good cold w/soy sauce. mmmmmm.
