Pizza dough- urgent advice needed please!

I have some pizza dough being made in the breadmaker, with 20 minutes left to go. We have to go out soon. Is it ok to leave the dough for 4 hours while we go out, or will it be ruined if it isn't proved and part-baked immediately?

TIA

It will be fine left in a dish and covered with clingfilm.

I agree, it will be fine. If in doubt you can roll it into shape and pop in the fridge as that works to IME

I keep mine in the fridge overnight if I have leftovers, no idea if you are meant to but it always tastes fine.

Do you mean straight out of the breadmaker? Should I leave it at room temperature, or in the fridge? thanks

I always make in the morning and leave in a bowl covered until needed later in the day. I think improves the flavour.
